I can't believe it's already just one month until Christmas, and I hope you'll forgive me for sending out what I suppose is technically spam.
The drawback of self-publishing is that it also necessitates self-promotion, something that does not come easily to me. I had a few readings (which I do enjoy) lined up this spring, and had planned to do more throughout the year, but the pandemic quickly put the kibosh to those plans. Now, with the holiday season on the horizon, I have resorted to making this little two-minute video to help promote my book, which tells the story of my family's journey through the Nazi era and beyond, in the context of the cataclysmic historical events of that time. A great gift idea (imho) for anyone interested in that period of history.
The book is available locally and online at these booksellers. Some of the local outlets have online ordering available as well as in-store shopping. You can find more information about the book here, or read a review by historian Ron Verzuh and another by author Harold Rhenish. I have also put together a summary of comments sent to me by various readers, some of which I have included in the video.
